Post Care

Optimizing your recovery is just as important as the treatment itself. To ensure the best results and a smooth healing process at Faster Aesthetics, please follow these post-care instructions tailored to your specific service.

Post-Treatment Guide: Recovery & Aftercare

Injectables (Botox, Fillers, Skinvive, Sculptra)

The "4-Hour Rule": For Botox and other neurotoxins, stay upright for 4 hours. Do not lie down or bend over, as this can cause the product to migrate.

Hands Off: Avoid massaging or applying pressure to the treated areas for 24 hours (unless specifically instructed for Sculptra).

Skip the Gym: Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive heat (saunas, hot tubs) for 24–48 hours to minimize swelling and bruising.

Managing Bruising: If bruising occurs, continue taking Arnica or apply a cold compress (10 minutes on, 10 minutes off) for the first 24 hours.

Tone Correction (Lumecca IPL)

The "Coffee Ground" Effect: Pigmentation may darken and look like coffee grounds before flaking off within 7–10 days. This is a sign the treatment worked! Do not scrub them off.

Cooling Down: If the skin feels like a mild sunburn, you may apply a cool compress or pure Aloe Vera gel.

Strict Sun Avoidance: Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks post-treatment. Lumecca makes your skin temporarily more susceptible to new sun damage.

Skin Remodeling (Morpheus8)

Keep it Clean: Use only a gentle cleanser and the post-care ointment provided by our team for the first 48–72 hours. Avoid active ingredients like Retinol or Vitamin C for at least 5 days.

Expect Texture: You may experience "micro-lesions" or a sandpaper-like texture for a few days. Do not pick or scrub these; let them flake off naturally.

Sun Shield: Your skin will be highly sensitive. Wear a physical (mineral-based) SPF 30+ daily starting 24 hours after treatment.

Makeup Break: Avoid applying makeup for at least 48 hours to allow the micro-channels to close properly.

Laser Hair Removal (InMode Fusion)

Redness & Bumps: It is normal to have "perifollicular edema" (slight swelling around the hair follicle) for a few hours. This usually subsides quickly.

No Heat: Avoid hot showers, saunas, and intense workouts for 24 hours.

Gentle Exfoliation: One week after your session, gently exfoliate the area to help treated hairs shed more easily.

Sun Protection: Keep treated areas covered or protected with SPF 30+, as laser-treated skin is more prone to hyperpigmentation if exposed to UV rays.
